Exteriors show minimal shelf wear - light staining to top of text block and some rubbing to tail caps. Volume two has a minor dent to the spine, else boards are smooth and clean with no significant damage or marks. Bindings are tight, hinges and joints taut, and corners remain sharp. Interiors are crisp and clean. Front free endpaper of volume one is slightly wrinkled, otherwise pages are unmarred by stains, markings, or tears. Dust jackets show creasing, toning, and very light chipping at edges, though no large tears or missing pieces. Front and rear panels show rubbing/marking from shelf wear, yet titles and illustrations are colorful and unaffected. Volume two has a dent to the spine panel, and volume three is lightly stained on spine panel. Original prices are intact. Jackets are all protected in archival mylar.
