Description: Selling 4 beautifully framed and matted Civil War pictures by Dale Gallon, Mort Kunstler (2) and Don Troiani (“The Final Visit” & “ Cross Over The River” by Mort Kunstler, “Confederate Autumn” by Dale Gallon and “Before The Storm” by Don Troiani. “The Final Visit” depicts Robert E. Lee visiting the grave of “Stonewall” Jackson in Lexington, Va. “Cross Over The River” shows “Stonewall Jackson” in a beautiful Autumn/River setting with Little Sorrel and, of course, the words in the title of this print are reportedly the final words spoken by General Jackson. “Confederate Autumn” is arguably Dale Gallon’s signature piece depicting the General with his plumed hat leading his Calvary, an autumn wind blowing at their backs (see back of pic for full description). “Before The Storm” depicts “Stonewall” Jackson prepared with his second corps at “Chancellorsville” to launch a surprise attack on Union forces (see back of pic for a full description). This is a stunning work depicting Jackson, steeled, “ready for battle” and showing in his countenance, the impenetrable eyes of the “warrior” that he was! All pictures have been beautifully framed and matted by either (see pics) the American Frame Shoppe, Gettysburg PA. or Fredericksburg Historical Prints, Fredericksburg, Va. Larger two framed prints measure approximately 16”H x 19”W, with the two smaller framed pictures measuring approximately 8.75” x 10.75.” A “rare opportunity” for a Civil War art collector to own all four of these pictures!
