Description: From a local estate , these are two 13 mm gold tone buttons featuring a left facing profile of Abraham Lincoln in bas relief. The face of the button is wrapped over a metal alloy shank suitable for sewing onto a garment. They look gold plated and both buttons are in very nice condition. My knowledge of buttons is limited to what I find through research, but I would assume that these were made after Lincoln's death in 1865. One price for two buttons.
