Description: This 1978 Dime has no mint mark. The strike was offset, there is a slightly noticeable double collar on the obverse and a more noticeable double collar on the reverse bottom left curve. The Y in liberty is too close to the rim, another effect of the apparent off-center strike. The 8 in 1978 is mis-struck. On the reverse, the OF is lightly minted and there is a strike thru on the torch handle, leaving a gouge in the lower handle. **I am a novice coin collector and I have begun to sell off my collection, some of which was left to me and some I have collected along the way over the years. These are some of the obvious errors I note. I am not a coin expert, these are ungraded and uncertified. These are legitimate currency & knowledgeable collectors can really benefit from additional rarities my coins have that I may be unaware of!
