Description: Verlinden Productions 120mm (1/16 scale) British Chindit (Long Range Penetration Group Special Operations Unit) Lance Corporal with Lee-Enfield Rifle during the Burma Campaign in Pacific War WWII 1160 Brand new! This is a resin figure kit from Verlinden Productions. Kit consists of unassembled and unpainted resin parts, parts are shown in ninth picture. Built and painted one's pictures are for reference only and put for you to enjoy fine detailing of Mr.Francois Verlinden. These are NOS Verlinden kits, although kits are new, their packages may not always be in perfect condition. This 1/16th scale Chindit comes in fifteen parts of cream resin and the sculpt recreates a Lance Corporal of this special service force. These men went behind the Japanese front lines to interdict Japanese lines of communication and wreak havoc and fear amongst their enemies. Often surviving for months at a time with no support but airdrops, these soldiers were often very irregular in their appearance and equipment. This Chindit wears a slant bush hat and carries a Lee-Enfield "303" at his shoulder, long sleeves and pants with galoshes over their boots. Important! This item is unassembled and unpainted.
