(#2 of 2 listed by AFind4U) Walnut veneer & cloth. Resistance = 6-8 OHMS. 16" Tall x 10" Wide x 6 1/2" deep. Made in Maynard, Mass. 1960's New England sound that characterized a dozen or so brands that dominated the market until the late 70's. Scott made these specifically as speakers for compact systems they were marketing to compete with KLH. 6.5 inch woofer and 3.5 inch cone tweeter. A really pleasant sounding speaker with a solid cabinet and walnut veneer. If you want a real 60's listening experience these will give you a fine presentation from a rather compact size. HH Scott was one of the premier American hi-fi-brands in the 1960‘s and 1970‘s, best known for tuners, amplifiers and receivers. Their lesser known "S" series speakers were well made products that consistently received great reviews and praise for good value. Like so many classic companies Scott faltered in the 1980‘s but, before they became a made in Japan brand, they made some excellent speakers, like these, in the USA.
