Description: This antique sterling brooch is a classic Victorian gem. At the center is an engraved swallow with an aesthetic style background. Measurements: approx 1-1/2” wide x 5/16” thick excluding the pin mechanism. Weight: light weight and easy to wear in any season at 5.1 grams. Unmarked. The silver has been tested for purity and it is sterling. Condition: the original clasp was replaced with a more contemporary roll-over clasp, several of the farthest tips around the rim and dented and/or rubbed down, some gaps on the back piece that holds the pin mechanism these cannot be seen on the front and do not affect the brooch.
