Description: This beautiful pin is in excellent condition. It measures 2 1/2" long and 10 mm at the widest part. The bar itself is round and measures about 3.25 mm in diameter. The center stone is a blue prong set rhinestone. It is surrounded by 9 dark (black?) prong set rhinestones. These appear to have darkened, but my policy is not to clean vintage jewelry There are also four prong set rhinestones across the bar - two on each side of the center. Each of these is also prong set. The brooch is marked on the back "1/20 12k" which indicates it is gold filled. There is also a mark on the pin that says "White Co" verifying the maker. This mark was first used in 1928. There is a locking safety clasp that works well, making the piece secure for wear. Please review all photos as they are an important part of the description.
