Description: For sale is this very nice copy of the old Celestron orange tube C90 spotting/astronomical telescopes. This copy comes in a plastic carry case with foam interior. The C90 has an optical diameter of 90mm and a focal length of 1000mm. It's an f/11 scope. The carrying case with this model is old and the plastic clamps are liable to come undone at any amount of movement. The foam interior is okay, but is obviously old. Optics are good for the age. Standard dust accumulation is visible, see photos. There is a serial number under the lens but I can't make out the 4 digits. Focuses fine, a little gritty due to the metal construction but no issues there. Serial number on the body is 917551. Probably from the mid to early 1980's based on what I've seen online. Eyepiece cap and front lens cap are included, though the finderscope has no caps on either end. Comes with 2 eyepieces and a diagonal. They are all circle V capped, although I don't see any markings on the devices themselves. I suspect these are vixen manufactured but because there is nothing on the barrels it's hard to say for certain.The 2 eyepieces are:- Celestron 0.96" 18mm Kellner- Celestron 0.96" 30mm Kellner There is also a rubber protective... thing that covers the barrel of the telescope.
