Description: Vintage Coach Spectator Roll Bag in Navy and British Tan leather. Style number 6887, made in the USA. Era: late 80s-early 90s (pre-1994 creed). The bag has been authenticated on Coach Counterfeits. Here's the Coach Roll Bag in a fun combination of very dark navy leather and contrasting British Tan trims, a variant of the plain Roll Bag. In the pictures you can see how it was presented in the Coach Holidays 1991 catalog. The bag is quite structured with rigid side walls and a leather-lined flap, which adds that 90s flair to any outfit. The color combo works with everything, the dark navy still softer in contrast with the warm brown of British Tan than pure black. Can be played down for casual outings or dressed up for more formal occasions. Very versatile. Features:- one main compartment that can fit your essentials such as wallet, keys, earphones. Large enough to fit a soft cover book, for example- front pocket under the flap (leather-lined)- springlock closure- full-length outside back pocket for easy-to-reach items- full-length inside zipper pocket- adjustable shoulder strap (non detachable)- no hangtag- dimensions: 11 1/4 x 7 1/4 x 3 1/2 Condition: pre-owned, functional with flaws, sold as is. Please note that this bag seems to have gotten lots of use. I cleaned and conditioned it to the best of my abilities but it's got imperfections still. I'm listing below as many as I can count and see but the bag may have other signs of use: - leather: thick and supple, with scratches and scuffs throughout. Color might be uneven in some areas with lighter spots on the navy leather and darker spots/areas on the British Tan trims due to patina and conditioning.- hardware: functional. Zippers are good. The spring lock is scuffed but works great. It has been polished with brasso. The brass pieces connecting the strap to the body of the bag could be tightened with pliers to ensure a better alignment of the strap (see pictures). - piping: the trim on each side of the bag seems to be undone at the edges (1-2 stitches) inside the bag, which doesn't show outside, and is maintained in place by the piping of the front piece (see pictures for details). Piping is scuffed in some places.- strap: shows some patina at the top, uneven color + one darker spot on the tope, no functional flaw. - inside compartment: there are a few pen marks on the inside left side of the bag and at the bottom, not very noticeable (see pictures)- overall shape: when not full and not worn, the sides of the bag tend to protrude a bit from the reinforcement in the leather there. See pictures and assess. Please make sure to look at all the pictures to assess condition, they are part of the description. The price reflects the current condition. The bag has been vacuumed inside, cleaned with Lexol leather cleaner outside and intensively nourished with leather CPR and Cobbler's choice all natural leather cream. It hasn't been dunked (not recommended on this style) or tested for the presence of shoe polish/paint. The item will ship from California with USPS (tracked).
