Description: This fire fighters helmet was manufactured in 1972 by Cairns & Bros. It is in decent condition but can tell it's definitely been worn. It is made out of plastic, I believe, and still has the adjustable fire protection insulating cap.It also has the pull-down plastic face shield. The metal face plate attached for adjusting chin strap has some rust on it. The helmet has labels on each side with Jackson TWP. I'm pretty sure it's from Jackson Township New Jersey. It also has the ring/clip on the back of helmet and what I think may be some kind of light holder attached to face mask. This is a great collector item.
