This beautiful individual soup tureen comes with matching cover, handpainted in vibrant traditional Breton colors of red, blue, yellow and green. Design of a woman in traditional Breton costume on the cover - the tureen is signed on the base "Plats du Chef". This is a collectible item and they are no longer made by Quimper. The soup tureen measures approximately 4.5” in diameter (6” including handles) and approximately 5” high to top of handle. In mint condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. I believe this was never used and only stored in a curio cabinet as it shows no signs of use. This would be a lovely addition to any Henriot Quimper collection!
