Description: This goban (go board) is made of one-piece real Kaya wood with beautiful golden yellow color and fine wood grains. When the paper protective cover is removed, a gentle fragrance smell of real Kaya wood immediately spreads out from the board. Not only the unique fragrance smell, real Kaya is much denser, so the board is relatively heavier compared to Katsura and Shin-Kaya. There are minor scratches on the side surfaces, and there is a tiny crack about 1 cm long near the center on the bottom surface and two natural wood knots. There are dents on the top surface due to playing but but overall the board is well kept and remains in very good used condition. The wood cover is also in very good used condition.
