Description: I received this for Christmas in 1954, It was my favorite toy for many years and would still shoot the only red remaining ball up until a couple years ago. The slide action still works but the air pressure is not sufficicent to project the ball. In it's prime it would project the ball about 20 feet. Some if the plastic is cracked and some small pieces have broken away at the end of the ram. It was great fun shooting at critters and the bad guys and my big sister and it did not even hurt when she shot me so no harm was done. There are some dents in the barrel from when some buswacker tried to disarm me and the weapon suffered. It was great companion, for a time I never ventured into the back yard without it. However, I guess now I finally out grew it and it is time for someone else to admire it's ingenuity from another "mayberry" time.
