Description: This sale is for a set of two (2) elegant bronzed cast iron Bradley & Hubbard Lincoln Memorial bookends. Each is maker-marked with “B&H” on the back with “Lincoln Memorial” etched in script. They have a great oiled-bronze patina and are finely detailed as many Bradley & Hubbard pieces are known to be. Each half measures about 6-3/8” long, stand 3-58” tall, and 2-1/2” wide. These were produced in celebration of the construction of the Lincoln Memorial in 1922, with most produced between 1920 and 1925. The set is very heavy for their size and weigh over four lbs each. No cracks or chips, but they do have surface wear with some scratches on the back to the finish from age. They ship FREE within the US.
