Description: Signature Shipped by USPS Priority Mail, or UPS or FedEx, whichever is cheaper and faster. Up for auction are VINTAGE NEW MARTINSVILLE ICE BLUE #4500 JANICE PATTERN CREAM & SUGAR MANUFACTURED FROM 1926 UNTIL 1944. The one price is for both. This Cream & Sugar were made during the depression glass era in their gorgeous "Ice Blue" Color by the New Martinsville Glass Co. It is their No. 4500 pattern which they called "Janice". This light blue color seems to collect in the thicker glass areas, very similar to the "Moonlight Blue" Color made famous by the Cambridge Glass Co. in their "Everglades Pattern" of the same era. In 1944 Viking Glass Co. took over all production using many of the same original New Martinsville Glass Co. molds and the only significant difference is that the newer ones are slightly heavier and not as fire polished the originals. I believe that these Cream & Sugar are from the original New Martinsville Glass Co. but I'm not positive. Both are in absolutely perfect condition, and not even any scratches on their bottoms. The Cream is 4 Inches high at its spout and the Sugar is 3 1/4 Inches high. Both have a top opening diameter of about 3 Inches wide, and sits on a 2 1/2 Inches round base. Although they were purchased from an old estate sale on Long Island and were pre-owned, the Cream & Sugar are all in absolutely mint condition. I found them both sitting inside a closed dining room cabinet where they must have sat for many years, because there aren't any scratches on their bottoms, where one would expect to see them. I have been collecting unusual vintage objects for many years, and always try to describe the items as best as I can. As can be seen in the photographs, the Glass Tumblers have absolutely no flaws that I can see anywhere on them. There are no chips, cracks, fleabites, scratches, stains, cloudiness, or repairs. They come from a smoke-free home. I only accept PayPal, and never charge extra for packaging and handling. Signature Shipping and Insurance costs $12.85 via USPS Priority Mail, or UPS or FedEx, whichever is cheaper and faster. Payment is expected within 3 days, after which I will immediately ship the Cream & Sugar out as soon as payment is verified by eBay. Buyer may be subject to sales tax which is collected by eBay, and not given to me at all. If payment is not received within 5 days, the Cream & Sugar will be relisted. Returns will be arranged only if I have shipped the wrong item, or If I have misrepresented the item or its condition. If you need more pictures or further details, please feel free to contact me. You must be happy with you purchase. Please ask all questions, and contact me with any issues before bidding, because your bid is a contract. Please know that we can work together. I really would like a 5-star feedback from you. Buy with absolute confidence from a seller with 100% Positive Feedback for many years. Thanks for looking at my auction, and "good luck".
