Description: Proudly Presented today is this exquisite vintage Northern Plains Indian War Shirt. It is made from commercial leather with a true abundance of fringe on the hems. It measures 22 inches across at the shoulder and 32 inches in length (it is about a size 40. i was able to fit in it, and as you can see, i am quite robust). It dates from around 1960, and has obviously been danced in extensively. It has been in the collector's possession for 50 years. There are numerous repairs, easily visible in the photos. Other than the original creator, this set has had only one owner, who has taken excellent care of it. This piece would definitely have pride of place in any Native American art collection, and moreover, could easily return to the pow-wow circuit and be danced. Whatever its destiny, it is marked with greatness, and will be a boundless source of pride to its new owner. Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, i will immediately return the full purchase price, return shipping included. This piece would look spectacular in any collection. Many Thanks for your kind consideration, and as always, Best Regards, Rich
