Description: Vintage Old Glory Brass Padlock Lock with Key 2.5" Steampunk 3 Toned Patina2 1/2" x 2" x 5/8"5.1 ozNeat vintage Old Glory padlock. The key locks/unlocks it but the key does not stay in the hole when you hold up the lock. Not sure if this is more of a skeleton type key or what. I can't be sure of what this is made but it's heavy with a copper colored body, brass detail and perhaps steel? for the shackle. The middle branded section originally was painted red as you can see just a sliver of red left. I'm not a lock expert so please use your best judgement for dating and identifying this lock. The branding is fabulous and says art deco or arts and crafts to me in it's presentation. It would be a nice conversation starter displayed in your home. There is wear and loss of finish and paint. I've cleaned it extensively but you could go further with it. Please see pictures for condition detail.
