Made in a very small, limited edition. You won't see this figure sold often. This whirligig is completely hand made. Made from basswood, hand painted, carefully balanced and counter-balanced for smooth action even in light wind. This wonderful figure is nonother than Abraham Lincoln holding his papers of his Second Inaugural Address in 1865. A classic, historical moment captured beautifully. The figure is three dimensional and also features the Capitol dome. President Lincoln stands firmly on a brass rod, suspended on a solid wood base so his arms may easily spin, and his figure can turn into the wind. This heirloom quality piece measures 11"W x 7.5"H and is signed by the artist on the base of Lincoln. Mr. Snow also graciously included a signed letter and brochure when my grandfather bought this piece in 1996. Shipping carrier rates changed drastically depending on your location.
