Description: For your consideration we are offering a vintage cake plate. The round white piece is decorated with transfers of different market places. It has a slightly scalloped gilded rim and gilded tab handles. The plate measures about 10 1/4 inches in diameter. It is marked Old English Markets Can RD 1952 - Austin RD 29646 Royal Winton Grimwades Old Markets Made in England A and was first manufactured around 1952. The pattern has been discontinued. The 70+ year plate is free of chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs, but does have minor crazing and surface scratches. It is priced accordingly. The net weight is 16 ounces.
