Description: An Old W & T Avery Ltd. 7lb Scales Weight. Looks like Brass but a magnet will attach itself to it so the brass finish has been applied over an iron core. I bought it many years ago and used it as a door stop in my old house but now I have moved I don't need it. I always believed it to be made of brass and it was only when creating this listing that I found otherwise.
