The original owner told me that it was never used and it was stored in their back room under a plastic covering until they brought it out for their sale. As you can see – this unique vintage lamp is an excellent new condition. There is no yelling anywhere which typically happens with older items due to it being preserved at the original owners home. The brass is shiny – there are no markings on the leather bag or on the lampshade itself. It is literally in pristine condition as if it was just purchased from a store today (crazy it’s over 50 years old!) From the base to the golf ball, it measures approximately 30 inches. From the base to where the lightbulb goes in it’s 19 inches. The width of the shade is 16 inches and the base is 7 inches. I tested it with a three-way lightbulb and each click worked appropriately.
