Description: Very nice condition set of vintage Grumbacher soft pastels; packaged labeled as Set No. 1, so this is the original version of the 12-pastel set. It comes in its original cardboard case with the cotton cushioned overlay, an advertisement for Tuffilm Fine Mist Spray, and An Introduction To Pastel Painting For The Beginner booklet (original cost of 5 cents). See pics showing all contents and condition of the box and pastels Almost all (exception being the white one) of the pastels appear unused and near full length - see pics. The box is in good structural condition with the top still attached to the lower. Overall, the box shows some wear that includes some spots, lines, and discoloration as shown in the photos.
