Description: Vintage 1950s - 1960's Fashion Doll Accessories MADE IN JAPAN Stickers on Both Pieces Coolie Hat with Matching Purse Cream Straw with Metallic Gold Threading Vintage Fuzzy Flowers in Red and Dark Blue (look Purplish) Red Trim on Both Pieces Adorable hat and matching purse for a larger Fashion Doll. I believe they were made in the 1950's but might have been the 1960's. Both pieces are in great shape with no stains, tears or holes. They look to have barely been played with. Both pieces have their Made in Japan stickers. Coolie Hat : Cream with metallic gold threading. There are vintage fuzzy flowers in red and dark blue that now looks a dark purplish blue color. The brim is trimmed with a red velvety piece. The underneath side is trimmed in a taffeta type material with an embedded diamond shape print. The Made in Japan sticker is on this side. The only real flaw I see on the hat is that the original chin strap is overstretched and no longer too springy. Matching Purse Handbag ~ Cream with the same metallic gold threading. The top edge of the purse is trimmed in a red straw. There are three fuzzy flowers on the front and two on the back. There are cream straw handles .. both are nice. The front of the purse has a *pearl* button. The back side has the gold loop that fits around the pearl in the front. It's very stiff and would need some attention .. I didn't want to force it closed in fear of damaging the purse. The inside of the purse is trimmed in the same taffeta type material with the diamond print. The Made in Japan sticker is on the inside of the purse. The bottom is oval shaped and made of a cream straw or wicker type woven material. I don't see any stains or major flaws on either piece. Would look great with a larger Fashion Doll like Cissy, Miss Revlon, Sweet Sue Sophisticate or many others. Hat is around 5" across and near 3" deep. The purse is around 2-7/8" across from side to side at the top. The bottom is 2-1/4" long and 1-3/4" wide. It stands at around 2-1/4" tall not including the handles.
