The Beasts of Chaos are monstrous hybrids of men and animals. Since the dawn of the realms they have stalked the Chaos infused wilds, slaughtering those foolish enough to venture beyond the boundaries of the known. When roused to war they stampede into the civilised lands, spreading terror and corruption as they soak the earth in gore. They are the true children of Chaos, driven by instinctual hatred and feral fury. When Dragon Ogres wake, the sky is split by lightning and thunder rolls across the planes. These creatures of the primordial world are amongst the oldest of all living things, having made a pact with the Ruinous Powers to save themselves from a slow decline towards extinction.
