Description: Wen-Mac Texaco Tanker Replacement Parts: PROPELLER THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE PROPELLER (with installation tool) ONLY Fix up or upgrade your old Wen-Mac Texaco Tanker with these new replacement parts.Made from a tough new resin, these parts capture the details of the originals. Parts are properly painted to closely match the original, and come with instructions for obtaining the best fit. Listing is for one propeller only. The original Texaco Tanker propeller is often broken, but this replacement part will your tanker swimming again! 1. Remove rudder and then propeller with its shaft from the hull. Removing the original rudder requires cutting its push-on retaining ring off from inside. See my other listings for upgrade rudders with serviceable retaining collars, or replacement original style retaining rings.2. Pull the propeller off the shaft- it is only a press fit.3. Best practice for installing the old shaft into the propeller:- Chuck the shaft in a drill press, with the retaining ears down.- Set the propeller in the installation tool, hole up. The tool provides support while pressing the shaft and holds the prop square to the shaft.- Carefully use the drill press to press the shaft straight into the prop until you feel it bottom.- Reinstall parts in hull.
