Wonderful Antique Art Deco Ornate Sterling Silver & Lapis Lazuli Ring

Description: Wonderful antique Art Deco ornate, large sterling silver and lapis lazuli octagonal filigree ring, size 6 1/2, sizable. This lovely antique ring is one inch long by 11/16” wide and weighs 5.8 grams. The lapis lazuli cabochon is octagonal in shape with cut corners and has the most unique color with a background of grayish-brown peppered with splotches of deep blue and tiny sparkles of pyrite. The setting is sterling silver filigree with a dimensional open work design that flows into the back of the shank. This ring is in very good antique condition with no damage other than age appropriate surface wear and oxidation. It was found in the 1960’s at a high end estate sale in northwestern Iowa. It is stamped, “Sterling” and has been professionally tested as sterling silver.
