Description: An original WW2 "RESTRICTED" LUFTWAFFE map of POLAND, UKRAINE, BELARUS etc that features major cities such as WARSAW, KRAKAU, MINSK, LUBLIN, VILNIUS and LVIV. It's an 'AERONAUTIC' edition (FLIEGERAUSGABE), dated January 1941, and produced on a 'coated' backing sealed with a stitched edge. The coating would have offered some small degree of basic protection from the elements. Shaped according to the trapezoidal grid depicted on the back, so it measures 93cm in length, with the width tapering from 91cm (along the bottom) to 75cm at the top. Scale 1:1,000,000 In excellent condition for its age and service use (see photos). The map came to me with a small number of Luftwaffe maps of Europe which I am currently listing.
